Aiki lives in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband, (Ernest), teenage son (Leonidis - not their real names, obviously), aging dog and directionally-challenged fish.
In between being a wife, running a business full-time and helping Leonidis with homework, she squeezes in a few hobbies, including:
Martial arts, painting, writing, reading, bellydancing and playing three or four musical instruments. Occasionally she even sleeps. Very occasionally.
The 80AD book series are now complete, but reluctantly. Publishing book 5 was like letting go of a longtime friend. Aiki is now working on a new book, but it could take awhile as she only has time to write between about 11pm and midnight! Find her on Facebook and at Smashwords

80AD - background to the series
80AD was inspired by Leonidis. Being dyslexic, he finds the current trend of fat, overlong adventure novels too daunting. Aiki became aware of a need for fast-paced adventure books for kids in the 8-14 year agegroup. Thus was born the 80AD - five books,each set in different country almost 2000 years ago. Complete with swashbuckling swordfights, Romans, treasure, druids, Elves, dragons a dash of romance and an evil overlord to defeat, the 80AD series will keep both boys and girls enthralled to the last book. You might even learn a few things about ancient history along the way.
